Patagonia’s response to the BP spill

I not sure but I think some people read my blog.  I was on the Patagonia website and I stumbled across this link to the Louisiana Bucket Brigade an environmental health and justice group based in New Orleans.  It’s great to see that Patagonia is helping fund this research into the “real” effects of the BP oil spill.

Here’s the link

Patagonia makes almost everything I wear and gives a lot back to help protect and restore our playgrounds/offices so we can all  keep doing what we love.

The waters in and around Key West do not seem to have been effected.  All that oil had to go somewhere.

Time will tell.

In the meantime, we are fishing for bonefish, permit, and tarpon as much as we can!

Fort Jefferson – Dry Tortugas

I took the 70 mile boat ride out to the Tortugas yesterday and had a great time. Had shots at tarpon. Caught a yellowtail snapper, and only my second snook ever.
