It’s changing to winter time fishing out on the flats. On cold front days we kite or tie flies. On the warm days we fish. The day before thanksgiving was a hot on. 85 deg. air and 80 deg. h2o.
I saw a school of 50lb tarpon rolling in 4 feet of water over white sand.
It never ceases to amaze me at the cool things we see out there.
Yesterday was 80 and the water 73. Wind was around 10 knots.
We has shots at tarpon and permit. We caught sea trout, ladyfish, and jacks. Today it was 65 and windy in the am. I went offshore to the reef (five miles offshore) and surfed waist to head high waves with two buddys. It was insane. 70 degree crystal clear water over a 3 foot deep reef. We all caught tons of waves and had a killer time.
Key West it awesome for anything related to salt water.
I don’t know what tomorrow will bring but I’m sure it will be fun.
